Pictureless Post

We had a busy beaver weekend as my mother would call it. On Friday evening, we met up with the Gillaspie's in Mesquite and had a nice dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Faith and Audrey had a good time showing off their dance skills outside of the restaurant before we said our goodbyes. On the way home to McKinney, both kids passed out within minutes of being in the car. On Saturday we took Faith to get her 3-year old pictures made (I'm tearing up as I type), I can't believe in less than a month my baby girl turns THREE!! After the pictures we headed to the Collin Creek Mall and did quite a bit of Christmas shopping--we were pooped after it was all said and done!! It's been awhile since I've done some heavy-duty shopping like that! Later on that evening, we had dinner at Chili's, and then Shawn went and watched Longview win the State Semi-Final game against Denton-Guyer. We plan on going to the State Championship game this weekend in Waco--Go BOS! Sunday after church we went to Cabella's over by my parent's house. While I like shopping and looking around at Bass Pro, Cabella's is so much bigger and has so many more things to do with the kids. We could have spent hours in there! I can officially say that I am done Christmas shopping for my side of the family...we still have Shawn's side left, but thankfully, we know exactly what we're getting them! Merry Christmas, everyone!!
