What's in a Name?

The weather has been so gorgeous outside so me and the kids have been doing a little bit of chalking when we get home from school. Jaxon spends more time chalking on his face than on the actual sidewalk, but, Jaxon just wouldn't be Jaxon without doing silly things. To each is own...right? Well, while I was observing Faith and all her emergent scribbles, she turns to me and says, "Look Mommy!" Would you believe me if I told you that my child spelled her name? That's right, she absolutely did! What in the world are they teaching these kids in Pre-K? She also sings a song--F-A-I-T-H, my name is Faith. Things just seem to be moving way too fast. Every time the kids do something new or reach a new milestone, it's just a constant reminder of how fast time goes by. These days we're just trying to savor each and every moment we have with them, because we know that as soon as we blink; they'll be gone! My sister and I were just talking on the phone today about how my handsome nephew will be attending college in THREE years. That's CRAZY to me for so many reasons!!
