Friday evening we went to Longview to visit with family and some friends. It was a quick visit as we left early Sunday morning. Here's what we crammed together in the short amount of time.
-Double-date afternoon with the Hylanders
We went to Papacitas (this is a must), the Mall (I bought the kids their new summer crocs and jibbitz), Target (they bought the Wii and accessories), and to Dairy Queen for dessert. Might I add that the place where Shawn and I first laid eyes on each other (Dairy Queen) has changed quite a bit. I'm not surprised at all since it's been over a decade since I've worked there :)
-Saturday evening
We went over to my M-I-L's friends house for a cajun dinner (my sinuses were very clear after eating), and on the way back stopped by my grandparent's house in Hallsville for a visit.
See, I told you it was a quick visit. Two things I learned: If you give my kids dough and cookie cutters, they are busy for at least an hour and a half. If you buy my kids their own slinkies...they are mesmerized for quite a bit (they are all bent up now-glad they were only a dollar).
This is hanging up in Papacitas...Jaxon could so fit into this outfit :)
Here's where it all started...at the Eastman Rd. Dairy Queen. We haven't been in this place since we were sixteen years old--funny how things change!

you need to let me know when you come to town..we could do lunch or something!! Matt and I frequent that DQ quite often, love those blizards!! :)
We live very near to that DQ (just off of Tryon) and we love late-night Blizzards. :-) Glad you guys had a good visit!
