A New Tradition is Born

Last night Shawn and I decided upon a brand new tradition for the Copeland household. We stole the idea from my Coach Mom book. A "You Are Special" plate. We were just going to buy our own custom plate, but I thought it was absolutely ridiculous and unwise to spend thirty-five bucks on one plate. So, we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and bought ours for five bucks. Now that's what I'm talkin' about! It was one of those create-your-own plates. We decided that we would use it for birthdays/celebrations, praise, affirmation, encouragement, etc. So, here's the final product:
