Since the summer has been underway, both Faith and Jaxon (because he says everything she does), have been asking to make a pizza. I'm not sure if she saw something on TV, heard a friend or an adult talking, or what, but she's been pretty adamant about making her own pizza. Who would have thought that pizza's pedigree of over a thousand years ago would still be a hit today?
Faith has really been crazy about things going in order. She will say, first we do this, second we do that, and so on and so forth. So, I made sure to nurture her obsession of sequencing while we made pizza. So, pardon my, "How to Make a Pizza for Dummies," picture explanation.

Brushing the pizza crust with olive oil is a must--it's what gives the crust its crunch and its nice, golden color. My Italian family taught me all that I know :)
Cheddar, or in this case, Mozzarella, makes it all better.
Mini pepperonis--very kid-friendly if I do say so myself.
Ready for baking
And, while you wait with us, here's a fun fact about pizza. Americans eat 90 to 100 acres of pizza per day--WOW!
Thank you, Jesus for providing us food to eat (Matthew 6:34).
