Playdate and Strawberry Shortcake

Hey, that kind of rhymes...

Today we went to our old stomping grounds of Rockwall. We met up with our friends, Abbie, Anna Claire, Kaylie, and Reese. We had a yummy lunch at Chick-fil-A, followed by a fun playing time on the indoor playground for the kids. After a three-hour playdate, the kids were pooped and fell asleep in the car on the way home. They continued their sleeping when we arrived home and I took a little nap, too.

Shawn is off in San Angelo right now for the big Coaching Clinic, so we are missing him right now. We've got some fun things set up for when he comes home :) If you happen to be reading this on the hotel computer, dear, we love and miss you!

Michelle, I forgot to get a picture of your two beauties...we must have missed one another between ALL the bathroom breaks our kids were taking. Or, maybe we were too busy watching our kids since the three words of the day were "Watch Me Momma!" :)

Later on that evening we ate some yummy strawberry shortcake. Shawn told me that we needed to use the strawberries in the refrigerator while he was gone so they didn't get bad. So, here's to you, babe!
