Faith will be taking Dance and Tap starting in August with Taylor Dance. She was in dance last year, but she has never done tap. Today, she was fitted for her very first pair of tap shoes at Upstage Dancewear in Downtown McKinney. She's a size nine these days, and boy was she in her glory trying on both pairs of shoes. She really loved the sound the tap shoes made on the floor--it was hilarious. Jaxon wanted some new shoes too, but I had to explain to him that these were girly shoes. 
Both Faith and Jaxon reached their goal of 10 hours of reading this summer. They were excited to get to turn in their black, shaded Armadillos to the library. Jaxon is actually posing with Faith's time sheet, because his was in the car already....he also has his crocs on the wrong feet...silly boy! I chose the book that we read the most to them...they love Goodnight My Angel by Billy Joel, and we enjoy the song, too!

Of course I had to add this to today's blog...Faith is always the horsey taking her brother around the house everywhere. Then, Faith dresses up like a princess and Jaxon plays as her dog. I love how Faith and Jaxon are best friends, and hope it stays this way for a very long time.
