Family Movie Night

Instead of watching a movie at our house, we decided to have our movie night in the Video Room where Shawn spends a lot of his time during football season. We got the kids in their P.J.'s, packed some juice boxes, blankets, and snacks, and we were ready to go. This is much bigger than our big screen at home. Their movie of choice for the evening.

The movie had a great message that I can only pray that Faith and Jaxon understand one day. There is nothing we can do to make the Lord love us any more or less. And, when we sin, we're always welcome back home, just like the prodigal son. There's nothing like forgiveness and there's no place like home.

You Can Always Come Home by Andrew Peterson and Randall Goodgame.

I love you today and I love you tomorrow
I love you as deep as the sea
I love you in joy and I love you in sorrow
You can always come home to me

There once was a man who found him a treasure
Buried out under a tree
He sold all he had just to own it forever
The treasure is you, you see

I love you today and I love you tomorrow
I love you as deep as the sea
I love you in joy and I love you in sorrow
You can always come home to me

There once were some sheep safe on the farm
And one little lamb got loose
The shepherd went out and carried it home
That little lamb is you

I love you today and I love you tomorrow
I love you as deep as the sea
I love you in joy and I love you in sorrow
You can always come home to me
