Vacation Bible School

WOW, where does the time go? It's crazy how busy we've been lately, but I'm sure the school year coming up will be just as busy if not busier. We've got a full plate ahead of us. Can I just say that I am lovin' the stage Faith is in right now! As Faith gets older she gets to be more involved in things that I used to be interested in when I was her age. This morning we started VBS, and Faith really had a great time. I was about Faith's age when I started VBS and I still have memories of the songs, lessons, and story times. Jaxon is not old enough for VBS yet, so he was in the childcare room while I carried out my duty of being the snack lady for the morning.
It was really bothering Faith that her shirt was too big. This picture cracks me up...it looks like she has daisy-dukes on. Her shirt was honestly the smallest size they had available to order. Thankfully the shirt is 100% cotton!

Yep, the shirt is still annoying her. After this picture, we decided to tie her shirt to the side to make it fit more snug. My shirt was on the big side as well, but all volunteers had to wear our bright orange shirt so parents would know who to go to for help.

Here is Faith's verse she learned today:

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

We have VBS this week too and I thought we were the last ones! Faith looks precious even if her shirt is too big. Chaney has the same problem, not Kinsley! :-) I am like you, I love doing things with the girls that I enjoyed when I was a kid. Have fun!
