Experience McKinney

Every year, different sponsors put on Experience McKinney at one of the local high schools. It is one of the biggest community-wide events. Last year we missed out on EM, so this year we decided to give it a whirl. More than forty-five restaurants around McKinney came to let everyone eat samples from their menus, La Madeleine, Shogun, Panera Bread, Baskin Robbins, Spring Creek BBQ, and Cotton Patch, to name a few. In addition to all the chowing down, there were bounce houses, train rides, humongous slides, a petting zoo, and so much more. We had so much fun and the food was great!

Yes, I'm holding a pig. Don't worry, to date, no one in my entire family has ever had the flu or the piggy flu...I felt pretty confident that I'd be okay.
Jaxon kissed his head several times.

Faith loved this bunny.

All aboard!!
I took each kid for a ride down this huge slide...it was so fun. I definitely felt like a kid again!
Checkin' out the tall cowboy on stilts.
