What a fun Halloween the kids had. Faith and Jaxon decided to be Dorothy and Scarecrow this year, modeled after one of their favorite movies, The Wizard of Oz. Faith and Jaxon are truly best friends, they play so well with together, compliment each other, and on most days, you can find them holding hands and hugging. Sure, they have their tiffs every once in a while, like most siblings do, but for the most part; they've been so delightful to watch. So, I found Dorothy and Scarecrow fitting for them.
Watching them go from house to house cracked us up. Faith was eager, brave, and went around like she owned the neighborhood. Jaxon, on the other hand, was skeptical and not so sure about things. Especially when we came across the house with the coffin in the front yard. We know of at least two houses where he just checked out the candy bowl, but never actually got any candy. Or, he didn't reach his bag out to receive the candy. After some brief training, he finally broke out of his straw, and became a pro.
The kids are already trying to ponder at the thought of what they'll be next year and haven't stopped talking about their journey down the yellow brick road. We hope everyone had a safe and happy Halloween!!
