This is probably one of Faith’s most favorite gifts she received for Christmas, and she just received three new Tag Reader books for her birthday. Call this post an advertisement for Leap Frog, but I am truly a big fan; especially as an ELAR teacher. You download the books on your computer through the touch and talk reading device, and let the fun begin. Faith can choose if she wants the device to read the entire book, or if she wants to point at each word from left to right, while the pointer reads it to her. At the bottom of every other page or so, she can do all sorts of challenges. When we plug the device into the computer we can see online rewards she received for achieving different levels, as well as her learning path, how much time she’s spent on which book, etc. Technology really is amazing when it works! This one is definitely a keeper!
