Shawn and I entered Faith’s room that morning singing happy birthday, and as always, we put balloons in her room the night before. Last year, she requested Red Lobster, so that’s where we took her (she really just wanted their Cheddar Bay Biscuits). This year, she requested Chick-Fil-A for her birthday dinner…quite a change from last year. We had a yummy little meal and then let the kids play on the indoor facility. They had it all to themselves! That evening we had strawberry cupcakes, and watched all of Faith’s home videos, looked at baby pictures, and she requested to see the pictures of when she was in my belly. Before going to be, we read, When I was Little: A Four-Year Old’s Memoir of Her Youth, by Jamie Lee Curtis. 
A couple of days later, we had Faith’s Hello Kitty birthday party, with both of our families. Faith received a lot of Hello Kitty and Tinkerbell presents to last her a lifetime, and as always; tons of clothes!!
