Tonight was a night that I won't ever forget. I have never felt so honored and appreciated as a teacher as I did this evening. I felt so blessed to be an educator, and proud to be working for McKinney ISD. The evening took place at El Dorado Country Club and the ambiance was perfect; beautiful candles and flower arrangements were everywhere. The food was delectable and when the night was over; we enjoyed partaking in the biggest candy bar that I've ever delved into. I felt like one of those "golden ticket" kids on Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The district honored us with beautiful, crystal plaques, and showed a short clip of each Campus TOY in action. What an amazing journey this has been!
