Can you say SHEETROCK? That's right, our house was sheetrocked and textured this week. It's looking more and more like a house on the inside each and everyday. They also started on the masonry work for Shawn's built-in grill outside and our address plate for the mailbox was completed. Also, the trench was dug for electricity to run to our house. I remember one of the first calls I ever made on this house was for the T(Temporary)-electricity pole--the temporary part went by so fast!!
The big decisions were made this week on the inside of our house. Shawn and I selected the following:
-Countertops
-Back Splash
-Kitchen Sink
-Shapes of the bathroom sinks (sounds silly, but there are tons of options).
-Carpet
-Tile
-Paint color for the walls
-Stain color for cabinets
-Material we're using for the bathroom countertops, showers, and baths
We also hired:
-Our cabinet guy
-Paint/Stain guy
-Trim guy
What's to come for next week:
-Trim people should be starting their work next week (staircase, fireplace mantle, etc).
-Our paint guy will begin exterior paint job (columns, bay windows, etc).
-Cabinets will start to be built, but we won't see them for about two weeks.

I'm so loving seeing everything come together, Lisa! That living room and fireplace are going to be GORGEOUS!
