The Saenz Wedding

I am proud to announce that Hope and Josh officially tied the knot today! Words can't express how excited I am for both of them...especially Hope. Hope and I met during my very first teaching job. I was helping Coach Bookout with the summer workout program, and Hope was a senior in high school. She happened to be dating Shawn's best athlete at the time, and we just always loved hanging out with them and our hope was to be an influential, Christian couple. While Aaron and Hope haven't been together for several years, it's been great staying in touch with Hope through the rest of high school, college, and now she's a second-year teacher in Wylie. I was ecstatic when Hope asked me to be a bridesmaid and sing a song during the unity candle lighting. My sweet Faith was the flower girl, too! Faith thought she was the bride as she wore a beautiful, ivory dress. Since the wedding, she changes into the dress everyday after school, and has worn the headband everyday to school.

Hope is going to make the best wife! She is loving, patient, kind, and would do anything to see the people she loves happy!! The wedding and reception couldn't have gone more perfect--Diane and Hope did a phenomenal job preparing and planning. The reception was so much fun...we danced the night away and even took pictures in a photo-booth. Shawn and I had our own, private session...nothing too naughty, of course.
