Happy Birthday, Jesus! We started off the morning reading Jesus' birth story from the Book of Luke. We then revealed Box #7 from the What God Wants for Christmas kit. This year we had the kids buy for each other, so it was very fun seeing them exchange gifts to one another. Shawn and the kids bought me a Kindle Touch, and we bought him some gifts for his game room (those were give to him before Christmas, though). We always buy three, small gifts for our children to symbolize the three gifts that were given to Jesus when he was born. After all the present opening, we gathered in the kitchen for our yummy cinnamon toast and sausage-link breakfast.
