Today, we took a family walk down to Lake Lavon. I love living so close to the lake, despite it's lack of water at the moment. The side of the lake we went to was better off than some other looks of the lake. The kids had fun looking at shells, finding old fishing lures, and just soaking in the nature around us. I can't wait for the lake to fill back up one of these days so we can really enjoy its ambiance.
