A Long-Overdue Visit

Shame on us for not getting together more often with our sweet friends.  I just realized that this is the first time that we've ALL been together with our kids and all!  It was so nice catching up with Becca and Jen.   Sometimes it's crazy to think that we're all in our thirties with kids around the same ages...I met these girls when  we were sophomores in high school, and here we are a decade and a half later.  Shawn made us all a yummy steak and potato dinner and we spent the rest of the evening just listening to the girls sing, dance, scream at the green eyes (there's a story behind that), and play.  Poor Jaxon was totally outnumbered, but he enjoyed being their prince for the evening and walking them down the "aisle."  The boys seemed to have a good visit, as well, while they played some pool and ping-pong.  We were blessed to have the Maroneys spend the night before their next round of visits that came today. Next time, we won't let so much time go by, but in the meantime, we're all accountability partners for the upcoming, Kettlebell Fitness Challenge...thanks Jen for giving us all the info to get us started--January 16th, here we come!!
