Touching Toy Story Moment

How in the world is it that we've seen Toy Story one and three, but totally missed out on Toy Story two?  We're not too sure either, but we played catch-up and saw it this past weekend.  The saddest part of the movie was when Jessie was reminiscing about her times with Emily.  They show memories of their times together playing in Emily's room, running outside, and fun road trips.  I watched intently as Emily starts to grow up...as a little girl her dresser is consumed with horses of the wild, wild west...fast forward to a few years later and the horses found a new show, and were replaced with makeup and beauty products.  It broke my heart, and even though it's just a movie; it's true!   After the movie, I ran upstairs and took a picture of Faith and Jaxon's dresser...exactly the way I found them, because I know one day, other things/collections, will take their places.  Sad, but true.  For now, it's a constant reminder of how we should continue to cherish these moments with our sweethearts.

Rapunzel, pictures with her daddy and Mimee, and photo album, and a book she wrote and illustrated.

Jaxon keeps his dresser pretty clear, but I found his lego-replica of Bumblebee from Transformers.

Nice catchin up on your blog! Great stuffed animal idea! I bagged up like 2 bags of toys/animals that I hadn't noticed them playing with lately and took them to goodwill. Only letting them keep 3 is an even better idea! Glad you had a nice mother's day! Jaxon's grad. pics. were cute. Let's hang out soon :)
