Farmersville Easter Egg Hunt

I was so glad that I was in town this year to get to see the kiddos hunt for eggs. Last year, Shawn took them.  As Jaxon lined up for the 5-6 year old age group, he spotted a shimmery, orange egg...in fact, it was the only egg of its kind out there.  He was bound and determined to get that egg because he just knew it was the prize egg!  Faith had the same situation occur, she noticed a red egg hidden in the tree, the only red egg out there.  She, too, thought it was the prize egg for her 7-8-9 age bracket.  Both kiddos ran as fast as they could to get that specific egg first.  After we sorted through all the eggs and got to the bottom, we found the eggs they had been waiting for, to see if they were the prize egg.  Much to their chagrins, these eggs simply had an Airhead in them.  Oh well, they both had a blast and that's all that mattered.  They even got a cute picture with the Easter Bunny, something we've never done before!

You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13
