Mercy Me Concert

Our Sunday school teachers, Kent and Tammy Jones, started up this organization called, 25 Project.  The name comes from Matthew 25:40, 45- ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’  The project has been working to get kids off the street that live in Sierra Leon, Dominican Republic, and many other areas and villages.  Since Kent grew up with Bart, Mercy Me's lead singer, Mercy Me agreed to do a benefit concert for FREE on behalf of the 25 Project. Our good friend, Laurie, got to come with us. The night was so moving and I know hearts were stirred and God was glorified. Bart gave a little sermon and Kent got to explain what the 25 Project was all about.The concert was sold out and we were very grateful we were asked to go.  Afterwards, Nothing Bundt Cakes provided dessert for everyone.  If you are interested in learning more about this project, check out www.25Project.org.  I promise you will be moved, encouraged, and blessed by giving financially to this organization.
