Spring Break Staycation

Here's a recap of what our family did during this lovely week...

On Saturday, we took the kiddos to Seussology 101 at the Galleria Mall, ate at my new, favorite restaurant, Start, off Greenville Avenue, and then went shopping.  We also went to the Pacheco, gender-reveal party, the Copeland family was all Team Girl!
It's a GIRL!!  Sarah Faith is on her way!

Sunday=Sweetness

On Monday, I made a trip to my old college town, and met up with a lady I used to clean house for.  She lost her husband, Kenneth, two years ago, so this visit was long overdue.  We had a great time catching up and ate at the new restaurant in Commerce, Luigi's.
When I graduated, the university made tons of new changes, a new rec center, a new student center, etc.
I also went and looked at our very first home together as a married couple--The Village Apartments.  Three months after living there, we bought a brand new mobile home...and the same people are still living there!
On Monday, I picked up one of Jaxon's very best friends and had a day with the boys (Jaxon and Case).  Case has a big sister named Jordan, and she and Faith played together during this time, as well.  Jaxon told me playing with Case all day was what he wanted for his upcoming birthday.  We went to Cosmic Jump, Chick-Fil-A, and saw a movie at the Allen Library--Madagascar 3.

That evening, we watched Shawn play some flag football--they're 4-0 now!  Yay, Village Idiots!
On Wednesday, the kids and I did a lot of shopping, running errands, and then had a little Sunday School playdate.  That night, we loaded Shawn's truck with blankets and pillows and went star-gazing.

Thursday was my dad's 65th birthday and we also went with the Bookouts to the UTA Planetarium.

Friday, we spent most of the day just hanging out and going here and there.  The morning started off with a little Spiderweb Game.  We also played a lot of tennis.

Saturday we spent time finalizing some things for Shawn's new company, A Football Journey...more to come on that new business endeavor soon.  We also made a Facebook page for the company, too!!  We took a small break and went to Tradedays in McKinney.  Faith bought some roller blades for her baby and Jaxon bought a sword.

It's always hard to say goodbye to Spring Break, but Summer's just around the corner...
