One of the great things about living in Arizona is you are in the center of everything. Travel up North and you are in Flagstaff for skiing, and not too much farther in Las Vegas (don't think I'll be visiting Sin City anytime soon). If you travel West, just about five hours, you'll hit San Diego. I told Shawn that I felt like I really didn't have a summer with all the goodbyes, packing, moving, getting settled, etc. School starts super early around here, so I wanted to get in a quick vacation to somewhere, and San Diego was just the place.
As we drove there, we could literally cruise with the windows down, temperatures went from the 100's in Arizona all the way down to the 70's in California. It was beautiful!!
