Grand Canyon Getaway

A few nights ago, Shawn surprised me saying to pack our bags on Thursday night, because after school, we'd be leaving to take a train to the Grand Canyon.  The whole getaway was a huge surprise for the kiddos, as well.  We had one of the best weekends as a family, one with lots of memories, and one I'll never forget.  The Grand Canyon is both breathtaking and majestic--My God is amazing, wonderous and very innovative.

How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creation. Psalm 104:24
Friday evening, we stopped in Williams, Arizona to spend the night, this is also where the train depot is located.

Shawn read some scary literature to the kids before boarding the train.  We wanted to make sure they understood that holding our hands at the GC was imperative.

I told you it was breathtaking and majestic!

We went to church this morning in the Grand Canyon, too!

This sweet man serenaded us with his awesome music.  He belted out, "How Great Thou Art" in his native language.
The robbers are here!

"Give me your money!!!"  It was fun pretending with these guys!
