For the sixth, consecutive year, we got together with the Bookouts. We ordered pizza from Greenville's finest, Peddlers Pizza, and Shawn made dessert for us all. He made his nanny's banana, pudding cake. It was oh so good, too! The kids played and played while the adults played Phase 10, a very fun card game. Our night ended around 11:00 (we're getting old), and then we made the trip back to McKinney. On the way home, it was beautiful to see the fireworks going off right above Lake Lavon on 380. Too bad the kids weren't awake to see them. Oh well, there's always the 4th of July. What a great way to bring in the New Year. Welcome, 2011!
