Future Family

This week's family prayer time has been centered around relationships. To be more specific we've prayed for our marriage, our roles as husband and wife, Faith and Jaxon's future marriage partners, Faith as a wife, Jaxon as a husband, our relationship with Christ, and the four of us and our role as children of God.

Tonight we used John Trent's Bedtime Blessings book to ask the kids some questions. The blessing tonight was entitled, Future Family.

1. If you get married, what kind of person would you like to marry?
Faith: Someone who loves God
Jaxon: Someone like my mommy

2. If you have children, how many would you like to have?
Faith: Six, five boys and one girl
Jaxon: Eight, six boys and two girls

3. How many pets would you like to have in your family?
Faith: One dog
Jaxon: Five dogs

4. What would you like to have for dinner?
Faith: Chicken, yogurt, and juice
Jaxon: Cinnamon Rolls and blueberries

5. What will be the most important rule in your house?
Faith: Use Manners
Jaxon: Listen and Obey

Lord, we prayed for Faith and Jaxon, and You have granted us what we've asked of You. So we give them to You. For their lives will be given over to the You. 1 Samuel 1:27-28
