Never in my teaching career have I ever had TWO consecutive snow (ICE) days off, let alone FOUR. Even though there's work to be done at school before going to Austin for four days next week; we've thoroughly enjoyed our family time together. I think we exhausted everything we could do inside the house this week, but it was totally worth it. These are days we'll never get back, so I am very grateful!
Here's the top ten things we did!
1. Cuddled...a lot!
2. Read
3. Faith's been doing word searches (she's addicted).
4. Played with Playdough
5. Cooked/Baked
6. Watched Movies/TV
7. The kids played in the makeshift fort Shawn built.
8. Ran errands (Target, Parties Plus). Shawn and I worked out at the high school facilities, and we ate out at On The Border.
9. Played Board Games/Card Games (Faith and Jaxon learned how to play Skip-BO).
10. Addressed and made Valentines
No playing in the snow for us this time around...we had enough snow time to last us for a while the last time it snowed.
