Today we thought we would take the kids to Adventure Landing for some go-kart rides. When I was eight years old, I had my very own go-kart that I rode all around the neighborhood. I never got tired of it, either. It was my most favorite toy as a kid.
Faith and I took on Shawn and Jaxon on the track--unfortunately, we got beat, but we sure had a good time trying to win. I had the pedal as far down as it could go and Faith kept shouting, "Go faster, mommy!" Everytime I looked over at Shawn and Jaxon, they were both grinning from ear to ear, because they were WINNING! As soon as our final ride was over, Jaxon walked up to me and said, "We beat you mommy!" He was super proud of his daddy's driving!
