WOW! So much is going on in our lives right now, but the THREE that top the list are---drumroll please...
Change #1-We officially closed on our land and are now proud owners of a 1.13 acre lot in Farmersville, Texas. We spent some time today prayer walking the land--we prayed against any natural disasters, robberies/theft, injuries, etc. We prayed for soil that would produce good crop (yes, I want a vegetable/fruit garden), we asked that the resources the Lord has provided us with would bring Him glory, and we prayed for witnessing opportunities in the neighborhood. We're so excited that the journey and question of "Where are we going to settle down," has finally ended, but in the waiting period; God taught us so much. Stay tuned...next up is escavation.
Change #2-Faith got accepted into the Dual-Language program at Caldwell Elementary, so she'll be a Caldwell Cat for the next six years! Caldwell is located in the heart of Downtown McKinney. We've prayed that the Lord's Will would prevail--whether she got accepted or not and confirmation is a great feeling. Faith will be taught in 50% of her native language, while the other 50% will be in Spanish. I've observed several times on the Spanish days and it's the most amazing thing to see little blonde-haired boys and girls writing full-length sentences in spanish and speaking spanish with no accent. I'm very impressed with the teachers and the program. We're excited for our big girl!
Change #3-Our sweet Jaxon Wesley started the PALS program at Lawson Early Childhood Center this week. He gets bused over from his preschool every Monday and Wednesday. He won't be in the program too long as he's at a moderate level for speech, but he does struggle with glides. We've had some homework this week and he's already made tremendous improvement. I wasn't sure how he'd do with riding the bus on his own day one, so I told him I was going to stay with him and watch him get on the bus. He said, "Mom, I'll be fine, I promise." So, I gave him a hug and kiss and went to work. His teachers said that he did great!

I'm so excited for all the great things happening with your family!
So exciting!!!! And, I can't wait to hear more about Faith's school. I was just telling our bilingual teacher that I was going to pick her for Audrey to have next year. So cool that it's really an option in McKinney!
