Born to Die

Tonight, we did an activity with the kids that came from our, Just Add Family, tin.

1. I asked the kids why they thought Jesus was born. After some discussion we talked about how Jesus was born to ultimately die on the cross for our sins.


Romans 3:23-For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.


2. We had the kids sit down at the table and draw pictures of some naughty/sinful things they've done in the past or here recently.

Romans 5:8-But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

3. The kids took their drawings and "nailed" them on the cross, saying, "Thank you, Jesus, for dying on the cross for our sins."

We ended the evening by eating popcorn and watching Veggietales: A Easter Carol. Such a sweet movie with a happy ending.
