“In a sense, every wedding is a royal wedding. Where the bride and groom are king and queen of creation…making a new life together, so that life can flow through them into the future.”
-Lord Bishop of London
Friday at school, all the little girls could dress like a bride to honor the Royal Wedding. I wasn't one of these people that had to wake up early to see the wedding, but we did catch bits and pieces of it later on that evening. Faith put on her white dress, white cardigan (it was chilly outside), her white veil and crown, complete with her white gloves. We couldn't find her diamond ring, but she found it when we got home. She brought Cinderella's wedding day book for show and tell.
But you are a chosen people, a ROYAL priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9
