This week our main focus was getting our contractors to get everything ready for the big foundation pour. We've had our engineer designer and inspectors carefully scrutinizing every part of the prep work, and they were pleased to give us back great reports. We had one, small hiccup, but it was fixed that very same day. Today the foundation was poured and it dried pretty fast with the hot sun beating down on it. We'll go out there for the next two or three days to water the foundation. While standing on it today, I couldn't help but think of the chorus to this song:
