We've been talking to Faith lately about how we were buying her a keyboard so that she could play all her favorite songs. Finally, today, her keyboard came in! In addition to purchasing the keyboard, we purchased a piano/keyboard program from Piano for Preschoolers. It's pretty much private lessons taught by a parent, instead of paying boo-koos of money for someone else to teach your child. For 2-3 year olds, if they know their colors they can start playing. I think what will be the biggest challenge is getting Faith to look at both the keyboard and the music book she is playing from. But, practice makes perfect, right? So, here is Faith starting with Lesson #1-Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star. When she completes all nineteen lessons she gets a cute little completion certificate...I think that will be awhile, though. We've got to get through Lesson 1, first, but we are having so much fun and just taking our sweet little time! I will make sure to blog on her progress every once in a while, and I'll get some footage of her "performances". Until next time....
