Whew! We had a busy beaver day, as my mom would say. On Saturday, Shawn had to work, so me and the kids headed to McKinney Trade Days. It's every third Monday. It's no Canton, that's for sure, but they do have over 300 vendors. So, needless to say, we covered a lot of ground, I think I probably pushed the kids in the double stroller for about three or four miles! What a workout! After lunch and naps, I got the kids dressed and ready to go up to McKinney H.S. All the coaches' families had to be up there for a family picture to go on the website and in the program! I was a little nervous because it took me a while to find a shirt for Faith so that she could match the rest of our family. If you remember a couple of posts ago, I had been to several stores (twelve to be exact) and could not find anything girly that was navy or gold! Luckily, Target came through and we settled for a light blue/navy silk shirt. Oh, and, I am pleased to announce that Jaxon said his FIRST sentence, "Gimme my ball," while we were on the football field with Shawn. I was so proud of my imperative-sentence making boy! Shawn was so proud because, of course, he was referring to a football. Jaxon, at seventeen months, has about six or seven words that he says, along with some other babbling. When Faith was a year old, she had about a 30-word vocabulary. Girls and boys are so different! That evening we went out for a nice family dinner to Jalapeno Tree--YUM! They have the best jalapeno ranch EVER! It's very addicting!
About to enter McKinney Trade Days...Jaxon is busy eating Dora snacks!!!
Look at this cute little train they had for kids and adults to ride on! It's actually very long, but I didn't get all of it.
My little dressed up man!
Strikin' a pose before we leave for pictures!!
