Camp Edge

Well, today was the last day of VBS, and Faith is already asking when it's going to start up again. VBS was a camping theme this year--Camp Edge--Experiencing and Discovering God Everywhere. I'm so glad she had a great time this week. She truly learned a lot about God's love and hedge of protection over her. I think her favorite part of the day was when they met in the sanctuary to learn new songs and choreography. She came home every day just singing God's praises with her new little dance moves. It was truly hilarious! Today, the parents were invited to see the final show put into action. Of course, I was already there because I had been volunteering all week as the snack lady. I could seriously get used to having a job like that.

Faith also fell in love with the Love the Lord song this week at VBS. She sings it everywhere she goes. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

Jaxon is too young for VBS, but he had a blast playing with all the two-year olds in childcare this week. Here he is watching Faith and her three-year old friends on stage this past Tuesday.

Some goodies that Faith was given: A sweet picture of her class and teachers, all the verses she learned this week, a cross necklace, and, you can't have camp without S'mores!!!
