'Twas the Night Before Kindergarten

'Twas the night before Kindergarten,
And as she prepared,
Faith was excited
And a little bit scared.



(All of our extended family wrote her well wishes to read to her the night before Kindergarten--what a priceless treasure).













She tossed and she turned
About in her bed
As visions of school supplies
Danced in her head.



Her favorite foods were packed
And set on the counter
She'll be excited
To see all the apples that surround her.


















Her outfit was hung
On the doorknob with care,
Knowing that Kindergarten
Soon would be there!
